Founded in 1980, Médecins du Monde is a militant medical association for international solidarity which fights tirelessly to defend a fair and universal health system.

Médecins du Monde fights through actions and rights, through advocacy and field actions, in France with 59 programs and internationally in around thirty countries.

Because for Médecins du Monde, defending health is not only about treating, it is also about listening, supporting, protecting, collaborating, defending, training, pleading. It is about tackling the sources of a problem to make the symptoms disappear with a local, collective and sustainable approach.
